He
has completed his Post Graduation in Zoology and also in Psychology
and got M.Ed., and M.Phil., (Zoology). He was awarded Ph.D. Degree
(Education) From Alagappa University, Karaikudi on 22.5.2000. He
joined as Lecturer in DIET, Pudukkottai on 8.12.1993. He was promoted
as Senior Lecturer on 22.05.2000 and then he was promoted and posted
as Principal on 1.7.2008 in DIET, Mannargudi. He is having Research
Experience in the field of Psychology (Stress Management). He has
presented papers at National Level and State Level Seminars. He is one
of the author of DTE Source Book, “The Learning Child” published in
2008.
As
a feather to his cap, he has received Dr. Radhakrishnan award for the
year 2007 – 08.

He entered in school education service as a post graduate Teacher
(Physics) on 21.09.1988 F.N. He was promoted as a Senior Lecturer on
22.05.2000 F.N. He has undergone various training programmes and acted
as state resource person in many in service training programmes given
by DTERT, UNICEF, INTEL etc. He is motivated the teachers and student
teachers towards Joyful learning approach. Basically he highly
interested in EDUSAT programmes and also multimedia programmes.

He
started his Govt. service as a Botany P.G. in 25.10.1988 at
Perumagalur Govt.Higher secondary school, Thanjavur District. He got
post graduation in Botany at Sri Pushpam college, Poondi. He completed
his M.Phil degree in Bharathidhasan university , Trichy in 1989 and,
he is awarded M.Ed degree from Madurai Kamaraj university , Madurai
in 1990. He entered into DTERT on 22.07.1999 as Lecturer and was
promoted as a senior Lecturer on 22.05.2000. He has done one action
research and presented five research papers in the field of primary
and adult education and he is interested in Educational Management and
Basic science.
4. K.S.MANI M.Sc.,

Senior Lecturer
He entered into school education service as a Post Graduate Teacher on
24.01.1989 and as a Lecturer in DIET on 16.07.1993. His Qualification
is M.Sc(zoo) with M.Ed and M.Phil. He promoted as a Senior Lecturer on
02.06.2000. He has done two action researches and presented 6 research
papers in National and State level seminars related to Elementary
education.
He has received Award from NCERT New Delhi for his innovative
practices in 2000. At present he is working as a Senior Lecturer of
IFIC Branch. He has undergone several trainings given by DTERT.He has
acted as a Zonal level Key Resource Person in Emotional Intelligence
and State Key Resource Person in HIV/AIDS Education programme. His
major areas are Educational psychology and Guidance and Counselling .
Now he is doing P.G.Diploma in guidance and counselling.

graduate assistant in chemistry on 13-02-1989 at Thondi Govt.
Hr.Sec.School, Ramnad District. He has joined as a Lecturer in DIET
Aduthurai on 01-12-1993 and was promoted and transferred to DIET,
Mannargudi as a Senior Lecturer on 11.08.2000.He is the Head of E.T
Branch. He has presented four papers at International, National and
State level seminars and has done one Action Research. He is a
specialized faculty in Education and physical science in elementary
education.

in National level and State level seminars. His area of interest is
Teaching of Tamil Education and Challenges in Indian Education.

He entered into Govt service on 01-10-1993 as P.G. Assistant in
History at Madukkur G.H.S.School and was transferred to DIET Kurukathi
and posted as Lecturer in History. Now He is working in DIET,
Mannargudi . He has done 6 Action researches presented and papers at
National level. His Area of interest is History Teaching. He has been
involved in Module preparation on TLM and Translation work of C.B.S.E
X Std. History Book.

She Joined as a Lecturer in English on 20-09-2000 Area interest is
Teaching of English and psychology. She has done three action
researches and one research project. She has published four papers,
one at international, national, regional, and district levels. She
has written around ten modules in English teaching and acted as Master
resource person in many training programmes. She has attended two
courses on English language Teaching and Development of Text book at
Regional Institute of Education Bangalore. She has been involved in a
tool preparation at RIE Mysore. She has participated in many workshops
organized by DTERT, Chennai.
She is doing a Project on, English Language Education.

Text book writing for Open University New Delhi. Area of Interest is
Tamil Teaching & Educational Management.

National Level. He has given ‘Kanpom Karpom’ TV Programme in
Doordharsan 3 times.

Enrichment Training etc. She has presented two papers at National
